All Purebred fee's are matched to local state and national rescues.
When you adopt a dog or cat from the Hill Country SPCA, he or she has had all age appropriate vaccination, been spayed or neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, and is current on flea and heartworm prevention. Additional follow-up care is the adopters responsibility.

As you can see, the adoption fee for a pet from The Hill Country SPCA is considerably less than the cost of having a vet provide the same quality services for a pet obtained elsewhere.

Our adoption fee's also don't increase for animals who come in needing additional care such as heartworm positive animals receiving treatment, animals who come in sick or injured, and even the cost of daily care for long term animals. 

Please consider adopting one of our homeless animals.
